Blue Bird Senior Secondary School was established in the
year 1976 as a co-educational English Medium School to provide, quality
English medium education of the highest standard to the students of Aligarh.
The School was founded by the great visionary Late Shri P.C. Bhattacharjee
(1917-1991), a retired officer from the Indian Foreign Services who served
the Indian High Commission (Diplomatic Mission) in several key posts in
various countries. He along with his wife Smt. P.P.Bhattacharjee, set up the
institution initially as a kindergarten with plans of extending it gradually to
a full-fledged secondary school.
The School is affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New
Delhi, and follows the most modern teaching methodology under the NCERT
(National Council of Educational Research & Training) curriculum.
In the last 30 years since its inception, thousands of students who have
graduated from the school are occupying key echelons in the fields of
Business, Commerce, Engineering, Aviation & Medicine.
The School is one of the premier institutions of learning and is acclaimed
for its high standard of education and discipline which is clearly evident
from the 100% results of its students each year who appear in the All India
Secondary School and Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE. |
